Hi! My name is Elizabeth but you can call me Liz. I grew up moving frequently, but consider myself an honorary Texan. As the saying goes- “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as fast as I could!”. I attended Rice University as an undergraduate and graduate student and received my B.S. and Ph.D. in Bioengineering. During my dissertation, I worked in Dr. Rebekah Drezek’s Optical Nanobiophotonics lab. Outside of research, I spend [not enough] time traveling, reading, cooking, playing with my cats and drinking craft beer.
