Dr. Elizabeth Figueroa is a scientist with a passion for diagnostic and translational biomedical research. She has experience leading interdisciplinary projects in nanotechnology, oncology, immunology, and gene therapy and has technical expertise in cell culture, nanoparticle synthesis and characterization, preclinical animal models, spectroscopy and microscopy. She also has leadership expertise in managing teams, developing and mentoring PhD students and undergraduate research assistants, and managing a not-for-profit business.
Dr. Figueroa received her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University in May 2015 and is currently seeking a Scientist position.
